We're looking for a volunteer, contractor, or concrete company willing to help with concrete demolition at our new rescue facility

This is one of the biggest milestones in preparing the shelter. We need to remove sections of concrete so sewer lines and drain pipes can be installed—bringing us one step closer to opening our doors and welcoming animals in need.

If your business can donate labor, equipment, or materials, TNR & Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we're happy to provide the documentation needed for tax-deductible charitable contributions.

Some stories remind us why we do what we do.

Emily and Caleb were abandoned after being dumped from a vehicle and left to fend for themselves. Terrified, they were running across a busy highway until they were rescued just in time.

Today, they're safe and beginning a brand-new chapter.

Caleb is a friendly, outgoing pup who loves everyone he meets. Emily started out a little shy, but she's growing more confident every day and is blossoming into the sweetest companion.

They're now searching for foster or forever homes where they'll always know love and safety.

TNR & Rescue isn't a new rescue - but they DO have a new building they are opening! We were fortunate to get a Friday fun visit from this adoptable hunk. Harley is a hoot.

If you're looking for a dog who's mastered the art of relaxing, you've found him. This handsome guy is a certified treat connoisseur—he believes snacks should be frequent, high-quality, and paid promptly for being adorable.

His favorite place in the world? Your lap. (Don't worry about his size—he certainly doesn't.) Whether you're watching TV, reading a book, or pretending to work from home, he'll happily keep you company as your personal weighted blanket.

He's super chill and prefers to take life one nap at a time. His ideal day consists of lounging nearby, quietly watching whatever you're doing, and accepting the occasional belly rub or snack.

As for cats? Let's just say he finds them... a little overrated. He'd rather they mind their own business while he minds his. They're not his favorite roommates, but he's got bigger priorities—like making sure you're never sitting alone.

If you're searching for a laid-back best friend with impeccable treat taste, endless loyalty, and elite cuddling skills, this sweet boy is ready to claim a spot on your couch-and in your heart.

St. Clair TNR & Rescue is becoming TNR and Rescue (The Neighborhood Rescue). This new name reflects our vision of helping not only animals, but our entire community.

We’re also excited to announce that we are opening our very first rescue facility at:

650 Sherman Street, Belleville, IL

As you’ve been following our big announcement about opening our new rescue facility, we hope you’ll continue to follow along and support us however you can. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing different ways you can help make this dream a reality.

One of the biggest ways you can help is by sponsoring a kennel. Our goal for kennels is $15k

Each sponsored kennel will feature a personalized plaque and provide a safe place for homeless animals while they wait for their forever families.

After years of answering, "Wait... what's your website again?" we finally gave our website the shorter, easier-to-remember address it deserved.

Our old website, StClairTNRandRescue.com, has officially packed its boxes, loaded the moving truck, and retired. It served us well, but typing that whole thing every time was practically a volunteer position.
