Meet Ginny
This tiny 7-pound Shih Tzu mix is looking for an urgent foster home while she completes her 7-day stray hold. She’ll be available for adoption once her hold is over.
Ginny came to us in heartbreaking condition. She has severe flea dermatitis from not being on monthly flea prevention, leaving her skin red, sore, itchy, and scaly. She’s also underweight. She’s already been treated and just needs medicated baths, good food, and a little extra love while she heals.
This is exactly why monthly flea prevention is so important. Fleas don’t just make dogs itch. They can cause painful skin problems, infections, and even anemia, especially in little dogs like Ginny.
Even with everything she’s been through, Ginny is the sweetest little girl. She loves people, gets along with other dogs and cats, and is happiest curled up in someone’s lap.
If you can foster Ginny while she recovers, or you’re interested in adopting her after her stray hold is up, please send us a message. Let’s help this sweet girl get the second chance she deserves.
